  Lilo signing autographs at  an outdoor track and field event Lilo is a 5 time Paralympic athlete and world class discus and shot put thrower who has recorded an amazing 19 international podium finishes including a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Paralympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.

She has parlayed nearly two decades of competing in Paralympic Sport (1984-2002) into a lifetime commitment to sport for athletes with a disability. As the
  Chair of the International Paralympic committee's Athletes Committee, a long standing AthletesCan Board Member and past Canadian Blind Sports Association Sport Technical officer and multi term athlete representative, Lilo's passion and dedication to the world of sport is unsurpassed.

In addition to here pursuit of athletic endeavor, Lilo contributes her time through volunteerism to numerous community and international initiatives. Throughout the year Lilo travels around British Columbia, Canada and throughout the world entertaining, inspiring and motivating people of all ages. Her candidness, enthusiasm, honesty, and humor make her a crowd favorite wherever she goes.

When all is said and done. . . Lilo takes time out with her husband Robert Andersen at their home in Coquitlam, BC.
