How
long are your presentations?
"The normal range for my presentations vary between 10 minutes
to an hour. My preference is 30 - 50 minutes for the simple reason
that one needs time to inspire, let alone motivate!"
Do
you customize topics and presentations to suit clients from different
sectors?
"I
will always tailor the theme and length of my presentation to suit
the client's event needs."
"If extensive
research is required to create a presentation unique to a clients
specific needs, then an additional customization fee may be negotiated.
This rarely occurs because most clients find their needs reflected
in at least one of my recently requested topics."
Do
you allow time and opportunity for a question & answer period
afterward?
"If
the venue and timing of the keynote permits, and it is suitable
to the occasion, I always invite individuals to ask questions. If
the event schedule does not permit for such a period of exchange,
individuals are encouraged to approach me afterward. I normally
stay long after the presentation and make myself available to as
many as show interest. I find this the most rewarding part of my
sharing experience."
Are
there any press photos we can use to promote your visit?
"Yes! With a simple password you can access and download any
of the photos located in the photo gallery."
Can
we videotape your presentation?
"I
have never declined a request from a client to videotape my presentation.
However, prior permission must be sought, I must receive a VHS copy,
the tape must only be for internal employee usage, otherwise, there
will be an additional negotiated fee for recording and distribution.
Will you travel long distances to a presentation?
"I
have been known to drive 1,200 miles in less than 36 hours in order
to make a presentation. Naturally though, my schedule does not allow
such adventures very often. I have flown as far south as Argentina
and as far west as Australia to deliver a presentation. I welcome
travel and the variety this brings to my life. Suffice it to say
that I "have presentation
and will travel".
What
sort of clients do you normally work with?
"My
clients have varied from institutions of learning, national conventions,
annual retreats, regional conferences, corporations, community organizations
and even churches."
What
size of audience are you most comfortable with?
"My
audiences range from the very young to the young at heart. Although
I am happy to share with an audience as intimate as 30 I also light
up in front of one which is 3,000 strong."
Do
you require the use of a microphone?
"In
intimate settings no mike is necessary. However, addressing larger
audiences pretty well requires one to use a microphone. I prefer
a lapel mike but will work with whatever equipment is made available."
How
far in advance do we need to book a presentation?
"At
any given time I am booking engagements two years down the road.
The sooner a client knows the date the better the chances are that
I will be available for that time. However, there are always possible
dates available, so feel free to ask!"
